ACTS combines the best of both worlds – learning in a classroom setting and putting that knowledge into action. You will develop your spiritual perspective and your ability to communicate the Gospel overseas. You will learn about Turkish culture, religion, language, and history while getting a taste of cross-cultural living. You will visit Turkish university campuses where you will meet and share the Gospel with Turkish students who speak English.
ACTS also provides you with opportunities to hear the testimonies of Turkish Christians, visit famous Turkish sites with your Turkish university student friends, and learn from American Christians who work in Turkey.
Muslims need to hear the Gospel from you! Are you ready to invest part of your summer in one of the most amazing countries in the world? Then come and work with us during the ACTS experience. We need college students who can come to this part of the world and reach out to the university aged Muslims through evangelism, relationship, and prayer.
University Credit (optional)
Your ACTS experience can be applied toward your university education. You can receive university credit for ACTS through California Baptist University (CBU). California Baptist is an accredited university, and credits earned can be transferred to state or private schools. You may sign up for 6 credit hours by taking the Muslim Studies course taught by Jeff Lewis of CBU.
For more information about the registration and cost of the Muslim Studies course contact CBU. The university has a one-page application that must be completed, and students must work with their individual university to receive transfer credit.
